Your class reunion is just around the corner. You’re looking through old high school yearbooks and find yourself shaking your head. Why? You disliked your smile back then, and not much has changed. You think about not going. After all, nobody wants to have picture after picture taken when they can’t stand their teeth. Then you think about us and wonder if we can help. Have we got great news for you, friend. No matter what cosmetic imperfection has got you down, we can help — particularly with one of my most conservative and multifunctional treatments. What are we talking about?
Dental Veneers
One of our most useful tools in dentistry is dental veneers. Veneers are ultra-thin porcelain or composite shells that are made to fit over the front of your teeth. The procedure usually takes two appointments. Once we determine that you are a candidate for veneers, we will prepare your teeth for the veneer by removing a thin layer of enamel and then taking an impression that will be used to create your customized veneers. At your second appointment, we will permanently bond the veneers to your teeth and then shape them to your satisfaction. Veneers can be used to:
- Close gaps between teeth
- Correct crooked or overlapping teeth
- Change the shape of teeth that are too rounded or squared
- Repair teeth that are chipped or broken
- Lighten teeth that haven’t responded to professional whitening treatments
If you’d like to come in for an appointment, make sure you allow plenty of time so we can thoroughly discuss your options, the pros, and the cons. If we move forward with veneers, I want you to be completely certain that they are what you need so you can leave loving your new smile.
We look forward to hearing from you,
Dr. Radkey
